Date: 2011-01-25 05:51 am (UTC)I thought of you this weekend when I went to see the animated movie "My Dog Tulip" While I only liked parts of the movie, the parts they did get right were superb. The actual story line is definitely of it's time period, but the animated imagery of Tulip (except in the "fantasy/imagination" scenes) was so very very doggish that it was great.

Date: 2011-01-25 07:09 am (UTC)I've yet to see any wildlife in Sweden (the downside of being in a town), but the cleared bike path through the small strand of trees through which I walk to get to Uni/local grocery store is a pretty walk--so nice to see trees that are lovely white crystalline sculptures again! You'd like the local tree-to-people ratio.
