Considering how long it took me to finally get to meet the Crowmama. But that's the kind of relationship we all have - even if we only ever got to meet once IRL, we're still family. And even 15 years or so after we've met (Can you believe I found the old Annie 'boards in 1995 shortly after I turned 18? And that I'm 32 now? Hell, my 15 year HS reunion is this year!) But y'know, when corva said she was coming out to Chicago last year, it was important to me to see her and meet her - even if it was only for a few hours and a chance to talk over pizza. :)
It's amazing to see where we've been and who we've become and how the border changed us - and that it's still going even now, new book and all. Always wonder what Terri or Will or Emma would think to see where some of us are today; I need a chance to sit down and write, but I've already got the ideas on writing Techie's 10 year continuation, and how a nasty run-in with some magic and some elves gave him his dearest wish in the world to be someone else and to be himself all at the same time. It'll see the light of day, eventually.
