Walking home this week I was caught in an odd start of rain.
Big heavy drops, random and wide flung, nearly enough spaced to walk between them dry.
The flash of feathers resolved into a clutch of robins hurrying under the cover of bushes.
Then tiny hail replaced the rain and I rushed home.
The wind and all that has moved the cherry trees to leaf from blossom.
